Terms of Service

VoiceMoir
Version 1.0, 14 September 2026

1. Who provides the service

The service is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Almaz Basimov, identification number 345838285, registered on 30 April 2026 with the National Agency of Public Registry of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Address: 1 Zhiuli Shartava Avenue, Batumi, Georgia. Contact: support@voicemoir.com. Referred to below as "we".

2. What VoiceMoir is

VoiceMoir is an app in which you tell the story of your life by voice or in writing. It transcribes your recordings, helps turn them into an autobiography, keeps your family tree, and lets you share the resulting book with the people close to you and with an heir. The app is not a medical, psychological or legal service.

3. Agreement and age

By creating an account or buying Premium you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. VoiceMoir is for adults only: when you register you confirm that you are 18 or older.

These terms govern your use of the app and the purchase of Premium on our website. A subscription bought inside the app on an iPhone is sold by Apple and is governed by Apple's standard licence agreement; for that purchase it applies instead of the price and refund sections below.

4. Your account

Your account is tied to an email address that you confirm with a code we send you. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. If you notice someone else signing in, write to us. You can delete your account together with all your recordings at any time from within the app, without giving a reason.

5. Free and Premium

The core features are free, with limits on the number and length of recordings. Premium removes those limits and unlocks autobiography generation. What each plan includes is always shown on the subscription screen in the app, with the current numbers.

6. Price and payment

Premium costs USD 4.99 per month or USD 49.99 per year. Your local price may differ because of currency and taxes; the final amount is always shown before you pay. A subscription bought in the App Store renews automatically and is managed in your Apple ID settings, where you can also cancel it. Yearly access bought on our website is a one-off payment: it does not renew by itself and nothing will be charged without your action.

Payments on our website are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle is the merchant of record for those orders: it issues the invoice, applies the taxes of your country and processes refunds. On your card statement the payment will appear as Paddle.

7. Refunds

We refund purchases within 30 days, no reason needed. The details are in our refund policy. Purchases made in the App Store are refunded by Apple under Apple's own rules — we have no access to them.

8. Your recordings stay yours

Everything you record is yours. We claim no rights to it, do not publish it and do not use it to train models. You give us exactly one permission: to store and process your material so that the app can work — transcribe speech, assemble your biography, and show your book to the people you have granted access to.

9. Information about other people

In your family tree and your entries you add information about other people — names, dates, photographs, an heir's email address. You are responsible for having the right to do so. We keep such information on your behalf, show it only to you and to those you have given access, and delete it together with your account. If someone in your tree asks for their details to be removed, write to us and we will help.

10. What is not allowed

You may not put unlawful content into the app, impersonate another person, try to reach other people's accounts, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer or copy the app, or resell access to it. For serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or close an account; if you have paid for Premium, we will refund the unused part.

11. Artificial intelligence and accuracy

Transcription, analysis of entries and the draft autobiography are produced automatically and can contain mistakes — misheard words, wrong dates, embellished phrasing. It is a draft of your memory, not a record of fact. Re-read and correct what matters to you. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of automatically generated text.

12. Availability

We do our best to keep the app running, but we cannot promise it will always be available: outages, maintenance and third-party failures happen. We may change or withdraw individual features; we will give notice of significant changes. Keep your own copies of what matters — your book can be exported as a PDF and your family tree as a GEDCOM file.

13. Liability

We are liable for direct damage caused by our fault, up to the amount you paid us over the previous 12 months. We are not liable for lost profit, or for loss of data you did not export. These limits do not affect the rights the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived by contract.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A new version is published on this page with a new date; we will announce significant changes by email or in the app. If you keep using VoiceMoir after the changes take effect, you accept them. Changes do not worsen a period you have already paid for.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you stronger protection, that protection still applies. Before going to court, please write to us — almost everything is settled by email.

16. How to reach us

For anything at all: support@voicemoir.com. We reply within three working days. Our other documents: privacy policy and refund policy.
