1. Data Controller

Data controller: IE Basimov Almaz Aslyamovich (Georgia, Batumi). VoiceMoir app. Contact: support@voicemoir.com.

2. What data we collect

Email address — for signing in to the app
Name — for personalization
Voice recordings (audio files) — biometric personal data. Collected only with your explicit consent
Text transcripts of voice recordings
AI analysis results: mood, tags, topics, summaries, reflection questions
Photos — profile picture, images attached to diary entries, and portraits of people in the Family Tree. Stored in cloud storage
Data about other people that you enter yourself: names, birth and death dates, descriptions and photos of relatives in the Family Tree, and the email address of your life book’s beneficiary. These people may not be VoiceMoir users
Anonymous launch statistics — the first time you open the app it reports once the platform (iOS or Android), the app version and the interface language. This is not linked to your account or your device: it is kept only as a daily total and cannot tell us who opened the app

Data about other people is entered by you, and you are responsible for having the right to do so. We store it on your behalf, show it only to you and to those you have granted access, use it for no other purpose, and never share it with advertising networks. It is deleted together with your account. If someone in your tree asks to have their details removed, write to support@voicemoir.com and we will help.

3. Purposes of data processing

Speech recognition — processed locally on our servers, not shared with third-party services
AI analysis of entries using the DeepSeek API
Generating an autobiography based on your entries
Providing statistics (mood chart, tags, day streak)
Improving the quality of the service

4. Storage and cross-border data transfer

All data is stored on servers located in the Russian Federation
Audio files are stored in cloud storage for 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted
Text data (transcripts, analysis results, biography) is stored until you delete your account
Please note: your data is processed outside your country — entry texts are sent to the DeepSeek API (China) for AI analysis, and storage is in Russia
Technical crash reports are processed by Sentry on servers in the European Union

5. Sharing data with third parties

DeepSeek API — entry texts are sent for AI analysis
Sentry — technical crash reports: device model, app version, where in the code the error happened. Entry texts, audio and the biography are not included in these reports
Audio files are not shared with third parties — speech recognition happens locally on our servers
We do not share your data with advertising networks and do not sell it to third parties

6. Your rights

Obtain a copy of all your data (contact support)
Request correction of inaccurate personal data
Request complete deletion of all your data — via the "Delete account" feature in the app or by contacting support
Withdraw consent to personal data processing (this will delete your account)

7. Security

All data is transmitted over a secure HTTPS connection
Only authorized users have access to data (JWT tokens)
An audit log of all personal data operations is maintained
Passwords are hashed (bcrypt) and never stored in plain text
